Called to order at 7:01 by Betty. Thanks to Dan for hosting the meeting tonight.

Adopted as circulated , approved by Betty seconded by Dan, carried.
Treasury Report: Elizabeth
Attached to the minutes in the ‘red book’. Income Silent auction B.C. Council paid, Lucette and Syl. Need a volunteer for 2019. Silent auction was $178.00. Charly and Martine have suggested that the silent auction be moved to the fall fair. Discussion around the fall fair being so busy and more volunteer time needed to manage the silent auction while the fall fair is taking place. It is a fun distraction for the people who come to the potluck. The silent auction will remain in the October meeting.
Exhibitor numbers are incorrect # 78 to be reviewed. Betty to review. 10 buyers at the October potluck.

Betty will be submitting the final documents for the new BC Society Act.
Guest speaker / Advertising Coordinator: Lucette
Garden tour with photos, 3 groups added. All the pictures of the fall fair.
Bonsor Liaison and Membership: Syl
No difference in members, 2 new members for next year.
Sunshine: Judy Vander (by email)
Card to Nancy Lomas. Syl will write an article about Jeanne but needs input. Elizabeth will send info to Syl.
Fall Fair: Dan Oldroyd/Lucette
Daphne is happy she is retiring. Decided on a dumpster. They will load for $321.00 The Junk Rangers. Wrap up meeting,, adding a few categories. Lucette to ask for suggestions. Just one day for the second room. Dishes, cups and saucers. Plates will be used for the bake sale, and flower arranging.
Consider a one day fall fair, a longer day. Drawing throughout the day. Syl will bring rental costs to next meeting. Lucette is sending Thank you notes.

New Business
Election
Betty will email Len if he is going to have Rose to assist him.
Executive for re-election, Fall Fair, speakers open, Dan and Syl, speaker co ordinator. Greg was supposed to assist. Charmaine to plant sale, possibly Greg for speaker convenor. Dan for BC Council, getting raffle prize. Ask for some of the new members to get involved. Sophia and Lucy Wong.
Christmas Party
Is Judy ready and organized.
Show bench points
Motion about the show bench money, motion to reinstate. Betty will put a motion on the floor at November.
