Topic: Only within the last few years have I been comfortable in calling myself a flower farmer. I have grown flowers in some way or another for as long as I can remember but it was in 2019 that I got serious about growing cut flowers. Since then, our little property in Yarrow has been flourishing with multiple raised beds and plenty of growing areas with a wide a variety of unique and interesting blooms. Forest Flower Majuba hit Instagram in 2022 and I haven’t looked back since. The majority of my sales are for custom bouquets and arrangements using seasonal blooms that I have propagated from seeds or cuttings, grown here on our little flower patch in Yarrow. I love this flower farming life. It feeds my mind, soul, body and spirit.
