7:00 meeting called to order
Lucette thanked Dan for hosting the meeting tonight.
Review Minutes of last meeting – Dan approved, Syl seconded
Treasury Report: Elizabeth
- Lucette added to banking
- .01 interest added, BCCGC affiliation fee paid $161.80 for 80 members (form was pre-filled with last years’ numbers). In future we should reduce the numbers if our membership stays as it is today.
- Our investments are due April 29. 2 are at 1.15%, and if we consolidate perhaps we can get a slightly higher interest rate.
- BCCGC AGM meeting costs are now $50. They will have catering at the next meeting hence the increase.

Lynda Pasacreta – Richmond Garden Club on ‘How to Attract Customers’
She will reschedule the bees speakers cancelled for February (possibly April?)
Bonsor Liaison and Membership: Syl
no charge for FHF on Friday, just open hours. If we did not use Sunday, the costs would be reduced by almost $500 (no 10% reduction)- total only $510.04 plus tax.
Friday setup time from 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm and Sunday take-down time from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm provided at no charge. Event is open to the public from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm (4 hrs on Saturday) and 11:00 am – 4:00 pm (5 hrs on Sunday) with access provided to the licensee at 8:00 am on Saturday. NEGOTIATED CHARGE shown below in Section iv) reflects “Preferred Rental Fee” of 9 hrs @ $127.51/hr less 10% (applies only to 8 hour bookings or more).

- AGM- move to March meeting (discuss FHF and any changes)
- Library- 3 dates confirmed with poss 1 more March 9 Tommy Douglas , March 30 Metrotown, May 6 Cameron, another for May June possible (all 7:00-8:30 pm)
- Plant Sale date confirmed for Saturday May 2, 2020
- BCCGC – Carolee will attend
New Business
- Mandeville asking us to set up a table
- March 21-22 Spring Fling dates
- Dan will be there on Sunday, Lucette on Saturday. Will ask for other volunteers at March meeting.
