Called to order at 7:04 by Betty. Thanks to Dan for hosting.
Minutes
Adopted as circulated, moved by Dan, seconded by Syl. Correction Vince is looking into the catering for the Christmas party.
Treasury Report: Elizabeth
Financial report attached to the minutes. $75 for plants was approved as part of the 2019 budget. We need to put an article in clarifying the silent auction and 50/50 draw. If there are items to share, you can make a bid. 50/50 tickets. Elizabeth will confirm the price of the tickets. Betty will put a note in the newsletter.

Bonsor has a new electronic sign above the reception desk where information will scroll. Maria confirmed exact times of the fall fair with Syl to inform patrons about the fall harvest fair.

Fall Fair: Lucette Wesley
Report via email, schedule will be ready for the May meeting. Betty has enough stock to provide a distinct dahlia that would easily grow in a pot. Dan has ordered potatoes. Lily has organized country fair stuff.

Christmas Party
Vince is away, nothing new reported.
Mandeville
March 16 and 17 Spring fling well attended. Thank you to Lucette, Gene and Dan, Len for ‘manning’ the booth. Two new people were at the meeting following. Dan and other volunteers spoke to a lot of people, talked about the fall fair and plant sale.
Showbench
May judge is Donna Lawson, as Jennifer is away. There will be a section for 3 muffins in June. The wiiner will be published in the bulletin.

Plant Sale
Charmaine has everything in hand.
Presentation at the library
Booked for April 30th, Bob is unable to attend. Syl and Lucette will speak.
Garden Tours
Thank you to Judy and the Templetons who opened their gardens on April 7, well attended, 15 people.
Picnic
If on Sunday, at 12 pm as to not conflict with those who attend church,possibly July 14th. To be confirmed by Greg.
Burnaby Volunteer Event
April 26th Martine and Charlyto attend, Syl has sent in form. Pictures have been sent.
New Business
Website Frank Girard
Frank and Betty presented the new website. Feedback received. Will be presented it to the group at the June meeting and will go live at that time.
Vesey’s seeds fundraiser
We will go ahead, Lucette will update the group at the next meeting.
Petunia planting
We will distribute small petunia plants at the May meeting, for planting in a unique container and then be judged at the August showbench. Betty will put a note in the bulletin.
Seed exchange
We have been asked to do a seed exchange by one of the members. We will do one on the back table at the May meeting. Betty will put a note in the bulletin.
