Treasurer Report: Elizabeth
A copy of the updated July treasurers of report will be in the ‘red’ book. There is a bill for $24.99 for renewing the domain name for the website.
Secretary: Betty
We do have the ability to set a short term email address such as tshirts@southburnabygardenclub.ca though our website provider that can be forwarded to many people. Elly and Sofia will consider setting up a short term email for the potluck that would go to the potluck committee.
The 125th banner is on the website homepage.
Bonsor Liaison: Sofia
Sofia has rental agreement to review. Certificate has requested a certificate of insurance, Lorna provided the contact information and Sofia will obtain. Fall fair payment is usually due before September.
Bonsor display case August 31st to September 14th. Charmaine and Sofia to do.
Membership: Syl
Membership list updated. Dan is updated.
Newsletter editor: Lorna
Deadline is for the newsletter is today. Betty has sent in photos and blurb on picnic. The showbench is completed and Frank is just posting. Syl will write an introductory note. Betty to write note about Jennifer’s garden tour. Lucette to send information fall fair and possibly various jobs tomorrow. Lucette will send a card to the Templeton family who were involved in a serious accident Betty will write something about the bringing trophies to the meeting.

Member Wayne Jeffrey is available as a speaker next year.

Old Business
Fall Harvest Fair
Lucette will ask for volunteers. Maria will move prizes and supplies from Sofia at the beginning of the FHF.
125th anniversary to be celebrated at Fall Fair 2026
We will set up a table for pictures etc. We may be able to get some from the Burnaby City Archives. Lucette has some pictures as well. Dan might have some pictures.
Lucette has been working on gift packs of seeds with the new 125th banner on them. West Coast Seeds has donated 50 packages. Lucette is working on the layout of the gift packs and what they should say on them. See attachment of a possible mock up. Lucette will remind people to collect seeds at the meeting.
T shirts
Sofia will collate the tshirt orders. Military green for the tshirts. Forest green for the golf shirts.
Garden Tours

New Business
Pot Luck
Elly will do potluck with Sofia’s assistance. It can be a bit of a headache when asking specificsso may leave it open. People need to come for 6, Lorna to make punch.
Bring plate and cutlery reminder. Sofia will talk to Elly.
Men’s Shed
Lorna and Sofia attended the Men’s Shed garden mostly from Seton Villa. MLA Routledge. They are setting up a garden at the entrance.
A new member has offered to make signage. Sam Anderson.
