Financial statement for September and a separate statement for the Fall Harvest Fair attached to the minutes in the ‘red’ book. The bank will now be charging $5 per month for mailed statements. Lucette will download online and Elizabeth will keep them for the auditor. Details to come.
Fall Harvest Fair: Lucette and Dan
Well done! Everyone jumped in and helped. Action item: Betty to ask for feedback at the general meeting. Martine needed more help in the kitchen. Betty and Jennifer will be away in 2024. Considerations for prizes next year: not splitting up the large tools for prizes. People got to choose their prizes. Vases should be in floral art or having more space. Floral art preregistration, max is 24 inches across. Vince created an amazing supplement about the fall fair. Consider houseplants.

No changes to the membership this month.
Bonsor Liaison: Syl
Syl will have to let Bonsor know to set up like a regular meeting with an extra table in front of the kitchen.
Newsletter: Vince
Due date October 19th closing date, out on the 26th
Speakers: Maria
Speaker for October. Ron on Oregon native plants. His honorarium is $75. Sofia will be in charge of people bringing an appetizer or dessert enough for 5 people. Sofia and Betty will bring paper plates. If you want coffee or tea, please bring a mug. Will need tongs. Sophia will lead the kitchen. Betty Decaf, tea bags, sugar and cream. No show bench in November or December.

Lucette will write up a note for the newsletter for November, 4 varieties Roulette Cherry, Harlequin Sapphire, Blue Mars and Cynthia Magenta and will be decided by popular vote.

November meeting
Silent auction, election short presentations, streptococcus with cash prizes and Lucette and Betty to present.
Chair for October exec and November meeting is Lucette. Chair for November exec and December meeting is Elizabeth. No exec in December. No general meeting in January. Lucette will chair January exec on Jan 10th and AGM on Feb 2023.
