Called to order at 7:06 by Sofia
In attendance: Betty, Lucette, Syl, Elizabeth, Dan, Maria, Vince, Dina

Treasurer Report: Elizabeth
A copy emailed with corrections. Copy will be attached to the ‘red book’. Invoice for Bonsor rental received and Elizabeth will pay tomorrow.

Fall Harvest Fair: Lucette and Dan
Thanks to everyone from Lucette and Dan. Dan’s workload has been reduced with the supplies going into the Bonsor cupboard and some supplies to be stored at Sofia’s. Dan continues to have the table numbers. Greg offered to put sticks in the garage. We should consolidate the supplies.

Trophy update
We will consolidate the plaques next year with the names.

Membership & Bonsor Liaison: Syl, Dina
New family membership with 2 new members. Currently up to 40 paid memberships (15 family, 25 single, 3 honorary, 8 life) for a total of 67 people. $875.00 in memberships paid.

Newsletter: Vince
Supplement for the Fall Fair will be combined by Lucette and Vince. The deadline for the November newsletter is October 25th.

Speakers, Environment: Maria
November Ron Long will speak on South America. Maria is writing a article for the environment column.

Sunshine: Rose
Virginia is in the hospital with a fall, Syl will send an email to Rose to ask for a card to be sent. Bob remains in Fellburn.

Old Business:

Pot Luck
Betty will send an email asking people to let Sofia know what they are bringing. Martine bringing tablecloth, Sofia has serving spoons. We have the pencils in the cupboard but bring a sharpener. $1 increments for everything. Donor should set minimum bid. Sofia to simplify the form. Starts at 6 pm. Sofia to arrive at 5:30 to ensure room is set up. There are tablecloths in the cupboard, and Carole took some home to wash. People will need to take their silent auction stuff back unless someone volunteers to take to thrift shop. Consider a 50/50. Elizabeth to ask Greg and Darlene to manage the tickets.

Christmas Party: Dina
Will meet when Martine gets back from vacation. Martine will ask Rose for tickets, start making list if needed. Cost is decided. 50/50 at the Christmas Party will be sold by the executive.

New Business:
November
Streptocarpus at the November meeting by popular vote. Lucette will put it in the November newsletter.
