- Brian Minter is available to speak in January, February and the first week of March with a fee of $400+ GST+ mileage – to be discussed at the next Executive meeting.
Sunshine: No card is required so far.
Potluck: It was a successful event with 30+ members attending. Syl bought the ham that was enjoyed by club members. Lucette will write up a thank you note for Lily in the November newsletter.
Old Business:
Fall Harvest Fair – Lucette to bring up in November club meeting about whether to continue as it is or to par it down for next year since it’s a lot of work for some members.
Christmas Party – Dina is to check with Martine about a write up about the party for the November newsletter (if possible) and about whether to have silent auctions at the party.
New Business:
Getting a cake to thank volunteers for the November meeting – the club used to get cakes in November to acknowledge volunteers’ great work over the years. Everyone is in favour of getting a cake that’s under $100. Lucette will get a cake from Valley Bakery since Sofia opposes any cake from Costco.
