Copy of the monthly report will be attached to the ‘red book’.

Fall Harvest Fair: Lucette and Dan
Trophy update given by Betty. Trophies need to be inventoried when dropped off at the trophy shop.
Membership & Bonsor Liaison: Syl, Dina
Syl sent membership update via email and also will follow up with Bonsor about the Christmas party start time. Elizabeth has just paid a bill to Bonsor $187.02 for October and November rent. Christmas party is paid separately
Newsletter: Vince
The deadline for the November newsletter is October 25th.
Speakers, Environment: Maria
November Ron Long is confirmed. We will change the chairs to face the white wall when we get there. Maria is finishing the environment article for this month and will send to Vince.

Old Business:
Pot Luck
Discussion about not doing the silent auction next year. Consider doing a competition decorating the table.
Christmas Party: Dina
The committee met on Saturday. Tickets available at next meeting. $35 for members, $55 for guests. Rent is a separate bill, we will need to pay the SOCAN. Dina will ask Syl to ask about. Sofia will check out the sound system at the November meeting. Another $50 from Rose Templeton for the Christmas party. The caterer will not be including desserts so people will be asked to bring something to share if they can. We need people to RSVP for the count for the caterer. Does Bonsor have a Wi-Fi? Doors open at 6, dinner at 6:30, caterers will need to know when they can get in.
New Business:
Streptocarpus
Will come in at the November meeting, and vote by popular vote and no prizes. Lucette to put a note in the newsletter.
