Treasurer Report: Elizabeth
Copy of the monthly report will be attached to the ‘red book’. The Christmas party will be the next big expense.

Membership & Bonsor Liaison: Syl, Dina
The 2024 Bonsor contracts arrived. There is now a more organized approach by Bonsor and we got a bill for 7 meetings for February through August. Our rent has increased 2 cents a month. Copy has gone to Elizabeth and is due in January and Syl sent a copy to Dina. The new contract lays out the times from 7pm to 10pm. The new janitor observes the times laid out in the contract.
No changes in memberships. Syl sent a new membership list to Martine for the Christmas party.
Newsletter: Vince
The deadline for the December/January newsletter is November 22nd. Betty will send the 2024 executive to the newsletter
Speakers, Environment: Maria
Maria would like a wish list for 2024 speakers starting in February. Maria will put a little ‘blurb’ in the newsletter asking for suggestions. Members of the executive suggested new introductions as an interesting topic and speakers from Botanus.

Old Business:
Christmas Party: Dina
47 people are confirmed. The deposit was $625.The committee will be there early to set up. The committee is ready to go. There is a request for small gift exchange. Consider clarifying the value of the gift in the newsletter. Dina will discuss and send Martine an email to set a value. Deadline for tickets is November 25th. Dina will ask about the gratuity and having the invoice that night. Martine will check with the caterer as to whether the tip is included or not. The music system is blue tooth capable.
Trophies for the showbench will be presented. Syl to thank members who have been members for at least 25 years. Lorna Gross to say grace, Dina will confirm that she has been asked. Greg and Darlene are selling 50/50 tickets
New Business:
Lucette will chair the AGM on February 6, 2024.

We will decide the chairs for the 2024 meetings at the exec meeting in January.

No executive in December, next executive will be January 16th via zoom. We will use the link used tonight as it is for a recurring meeting (see below). Lucette will chair.
