Treasurer Report: Elizabeth
A copy of the updated May treasurer’s report will be in the ‘red’ book. Maria will confirm cost of next speakerand let Elizabeth know. Our balance is healthy due to the successful plant sale
Bonsor Liaison: Sofia
The banquet hall is booked from Sept 2026 – Aug 2027. The hall is reserved for Fall Fair for Sep 11-13. Completed rental permits will be distributed at the end of June or early July.
Secretary: Betty
There was a number of cell phones going off during the meeting and noise during the showbench. The meeting was not adjourned and people started packing up before the showbench. Betty will make an announcement at the beginning of the meeting about cell phones. If there is limited interest in the showbench going forward then we need to reassess.
Received and email from the city about invasive clean up in Ron McLean Park. Betty will send to the group.

Old Business
Fall Harvest Fair
Need the tickets to sell at the picnic. Lucette will ask Lesli to proofread the schedule. The schedule has some odd formatting. Lucette has removed some and worked around others.
Plant Sale
New volunteers were great. Few plants were left. All the heavy plants were puchased. Lucette to write a thank you for the newsletter and will thank people at the meeting. Syl sold out of the worm castings.
125 th Anniversary Celebration Committee
No update at this time. Sofia to get the information on the tshirt order from Syl.
Picnic
Will be at Martine and Charly’s on July 12th, starting at noon. Martine is inviting the club and a few family and friends. She will be supplying the food and cake. Charly’s 79th birthday.
Garden tours
Thank you to Louise and Donna Polos to be written by Betty. Greg to send photos to Lorna.
Any further dates: ?Greg and Elly, possibly Lucette have volunteered. Will ask at the meeting. Lucette waiting to see in July or August depending on the progress of her garden reno.
