Speaker Co-Ordinator: Maria
When Maria speaks to Minter, she will let him know our projector is old and he may want to bring his own. We will need greeters at door to welcome and collect $10 for non-members. Betty will take cash at the door, and Lorna will be outside the door. Maria will confirm if he is bringing plants to sell. Syl will introduce him. Add extra refreshments should be available. Maria will contact Martine
Small group discussions at May meeting were very well received. Some requests that we repeat twice a year. The small group was preferred over an expert panel because you get to know others in the group. Consider another in July.

Sunshine:
Sent flowers to Lorna G. and Louise. Lorna will put a note in the newsletter.

Fall Harvest Fair: Lucette and Dan

Old Business

Seniors Expo
May 29th 1 to 3. Lucette will bring poster about Brian Minter. Lucette is going to print some items on membership and the fall fair for the table. Lucette will bring a prize of a Mason house and a membership for the raffle. Bouquet of flowers for the table.

Plant Sale
We will need to remind people that plants need to be of good quality and potted in soil. Consider having someone looking at quality control. At least labelled with colour. Need a plant sale job description. Prices need to be realistic. Clear about early bird sales.

Garden Tours
Thanks to Charly and Martine for hosting an impromptu tour last week, although Martine mentioned very few people showed up

New Business
Next year is our 125th anniversary and we need to plant something special and let Burnaby know. We can invite dignitaries and consider a potluck dinner. Special cake. Maybe a skit. We are incorporated in May 1901. Revisit in November 2025.
