Updated membership list sent to executive. More money coming from the worm castings to add to the plant sale totals
Bonsor Liaison: Dina
Issues with microphone continue and Dina has reached out to have it checked. Thank you note sent in to Bonsor thanking us for our BC Council prize, Lucette picked it up and forwarded to Martine.
Newsletter: Vince
Deadline is May 22. June issue Coming out next week.
Speaker, Environment – Maria (away)
June- Deb Jones on Rain Gardens, info sent to Vince. Cost for the speaker. Maria offered her $100.
July/August – maybe the Kelp man, person speaking on medicinal plants? Martine on Plants in Cuba. We will confirm when Maria returns.

Fall Harvest Fair: Lucette
Raffle tickets are ordered, 65 books. Invitation to the mayor/counsellors will go out soon.
Plant Sale: Charmaine
Will put a general thank you in the newsletter. Thank you sent to the Mulberry for their raffle donation. Newsletter will have an accounting of the total made. We will send a thank you note to Dina’s dad Danilo for all the wonderful seedlings he donated to the plant sale. (7859 Elwell St. V5E 1M1). Betty will send. Martine wants to know about storing all plants sale stuff. Lucette will tell her to keep only ones that are in decent shape. We will reprint if needed next year.
Old Business:
AGM- Financials to be reviewed by Syl and Sofia later date.
New Business:
Christmas Party
Martine has confirmed Dec. 3 Casalinga is available.Dina will tell her to book as long as the amount is not a lot more than last year ago. If it is a lot more, we will need to ask the membership.
Garden Tours: Saturday
June 8th 1 – 3 pm at Susan Brown’s. Address will be in the newsletter, also Queen’s Park rose garden is close by. Susan will be moving and will consider some gardening giveaways in the future.
