One new membership, new list circulated.
Newsletter editor Lorna
Deadline is Thursday. Sending out next Tuesday. Lucette doing reminders for the Fall Harvest Fair. Lorna has put the times in for the fair. Lucette will do a little write up of Betty’s gardentour. Lucette to write an article on the fall fair. Lucette will ask for photos for the November meeting photo tour.

Speaker Co-Ordinator: Maria
Syl suggests a speaker for indoor plants which was feedback from a recent meeting. Maria will book for a meeting in 2026 meeting. Lorna suggests Ron Kok, former owner of AmsterdamNurseries.
Directors at large: Sofia & Ash
Sofia: no report.
Ash: Ash would like to photos from the garden tour to post on social media. Ash to continue but will unable to come to the next couple of meetings and will send anything in by email. If Ash wishes to stay on after the election, we can look for a meeting time that would work better for him.

Fall Harvest Fair: Lucette
Gaps in the volunteer list, but people will pitch in. The set up, take down and runners are confirmed. Getting prize donations is like pulling teeth. Lucette is going to drive around and drop off letters and connect with some of the usual donors. The sea soil winners will be pulled on Thursday August 21st. Consider sending a printed copy of the newsletter with their information in with a thank you cover letter.

125th anniversary plans in 2026
New Business
Farmers’ Market this Saturday. Lucette will set up with the back drop and a small fall fair set up. Sofia to finish the day and clean up. Syl is going as well.

Sofia will put a notice in the upcoming newsletter about the potluck
