SFU study looking for participants. Betty will bring flyers and Dina will announce

Membership report circulated. In comparison from last year we are on track. Sofia and Syl considered asking Bonsor about groups potentially to speak to. Consider 55+ group, Burnaby Neighbourhood House.
Bonsor Liaison: Dina
Rental renewal reviewed with dates.
Newsletter: Lorna
Deadline is April 24th. Lucette reviews the newsletter prior to it being sent. Hopefully Dan will do an article for May. Dina will write the introduction and do a short article on her dad. We discussed writing some ‘origin’ stories. Syl will doing something about pots for the June issue.

May – Panel Discussion
We will divide the room into groups, with approximately 6 people per group with an executive member in each group. Maria will create questions and Betty will print a copy for each group (6). Some ideas are favourite plants etc. One member of each group will report out. If no one in the group wants to report out the executive member will. Allow approx. 20 mins for discussion in groups, then report out and have time for questions. Ask people to bring question to ask or want to share.
June – Brian Minter. $10 charge, spread the word. Maria will send bios to the website and social media.
July – panel as it is vacation time Contest wearing something Canadiana.
August- Conway
September – no speaker – Fall Fair
October – no speaker – pot luck
