AGM Meeting call to order by Lucette Wesley at 7:50 pm.
Quorum achieved.
Lucette thanked Sofia for taking the minutes as Betty is away.
Motion to accept the minutes of the 2023 AGM as circulated. Moved by Len Gross, seconded by Rose Jorgenson Mills. Motion carried.
Review of 2023 Financial Report: Lucette Wesley
The 2023 financial documents will be reviewed by Sofia Khouw and Syl Davis as per our bylaws.
Budget 2024
Motion to approve budget as presented. Moved by Judith Kearley, Seconded by Greg Templeton. Motion carried
Chair thanks all members for participating. Thanks to executive, Vince for the newsletter, Frank for keeping our website fresh, Elizabeth for doing financials, Syl for managing membership and dealing with Bonsor, Maria for organizing speakers, Dan for co-chairing the Fall Fair, and Sofia for helping in general, Carol for kitchen duties.
Discussion ensued: Suggested we review the decision to discontinue the Silent Auction at the Pot Luck. A suggestion was made to have the silent auction at the Fall Fair where we have more people visiting.
