Heritage Vancouver Society Annual Garden Tour

The Heritage Vancouver Society annual Garden Tour is coming up June 22nd and 23rd (a link to the event can be found here). It is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year and helps to finance programming and content for much of the rest of the year. In the past, Heritage Vancouver Society has featured an array of fantastic gardens; this year, we are set to include 15 gardens from Point Grey, Kitsilano, Shaughnessy, Douglas Park and South Main in Vancouver. invasive plant removalCity of Burnaby Parks has started a new initiative, organizing invasive plant removals in parks. Though we have been managing invasive plants in Parks for many years, offering workshops, and supporting groups that do invasive removals, we haven’t organized our own removals!

  • BC Council of Garden Clubs

    The BC Council of Garden Clubs represents garden clubs, allotment and community gardens in BC. The Council hosts an Annual General Meeting in the Spring and a General Meeting in the Fall. This provides an opportunity for member clubs to meet and exchange information, renew acquaintances and listen to great speakers on a number of topics relating to horticulture.

    BRAGS (Burnaby Rhododendron and Gardens Society) is a general interest garden club. The rhododendron is recognized in the name of our Society as it is the official flower of the City of Burnaby. Our membership includes gardeners at all levels from beginners to experts.
